We are paying Pakistan an equal amount for the privilege of flying over their heads killing the citizens at random. That 3 billion may be split between Israel and Egypt according to some reports but that is only a fraction of what we give Israel every year. The Suez Canal is controlled by Egypt. If Suez Canal gets blocked Saudi oil will have to sail around the world to get to America. Or at least oil tankers must sail around the Horn of Africa adding 3,000 miles to America.
